VORTEX – X-shaped spinning action parachute designed to provide additional visual effects with falconry display flights in mind. It’s a more complex parachute that requires precise packing to prevent failure when deployed, but in return gives an attractive visual effect. 

Replacement parachute for our VORTEX complete drone rig. The sale is for a replacement parachute only, excluding the parachute container and any additional lines required to attach it to the drone. Not compatible with our CLASSIC and LIGHT complete drone rigs due to too small parachute container.

PARACHUTE SIZES ARE PROVIDED WITH FLAT LAY MEASUREMENTS. We lay the parachute on the counter and measure from one side of the ripstop nylon to the other. The measurements will be completely different when the parachute is inflated.

Please Note: Due to variations in raw material stock and the manufacturing process, the final part color may vary slightly from the images shown. Parachute canopy lines, rig lines, and all plastic parts might be in completely diferent color than shown in images.

VORTEX – falconry parachute specifications:

Five parachute canopy colors to choose from: white, orange, army green, silver, and gold.

Lightweight and strong rip-stop nylon (non-PU coated) manufactured using a specially created nylon yarn, giving it good tare strength. Which is why it is used for manufacturing parachutes.

High-quality OEKO-TEX Standard polyester ribbon parachute canopy lines.

Large diameter loop at the end of the lines to attach the lure line. Made from a 4mm braided sheath, which is 32 interwoven strands, giving it a relatively smooth texture.

Our designed parachute line splitter keeps parachute canopy lines away from each other to prevent any twists.

A plastic storage box to keep the parachute away when not in use. Bright colors significantly increase visibility and aid in recovery efforts if lost in the field.

  Please note that your order will be hand-made to your chosen specifications. Typically, lead times range from 3 to 10 business days to complete, depending on the complexity and current order volume. Shipping time is in addition to this creation period.
