TERMS & CONDITIONS

Effective Date: October 15, 2026
Last Updated: October 15, 2026

Welcome to MicroFalconry (accessible via https://microfalconry.com ). These Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Agreement”) constitute a legally binding contract between MicroFalconry (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the user (“buyer”, “customer”, “you”) governing your access to our website, storefront, and the purchase and use of our specialized drone equipment.
By accessing this website, creating an account, or submitting an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and unreservedly agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these parameters, you must immediately cease using the site and are unauthorized to purchase our equipment.

1. Storefront Overview & Scope of Products

MicroFalconry engineers and handcrafts high-performance, specialized drogue parachute release systems designed to fit consumer unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs / drones) solely for the purpose of conditioning and training falconry birds of prey (such as the CLASSIC, LIGHT, NANO, and VORTEX rigs).
  • Variant Exclusions: Product listings must be reviewed carefully prior to purchase. Listings designated as a “Replacement Parachute Kit” or “Chute Only” cover the physical fabric canopy only and explicitly exclude mechanical release clips, line mounts, or drone containers unless a “Complete Rig” variant is chosen.

2. Handcrafting, Production Lead Times & Orders

Because our avian training rigs require exact calibration and engineering tolerances, we do not mass-produce or maintain a standing inventory of pre-built items.
  • Artisan Manufacturing Schedule: Every order is handcrafted to order according to your chosen specifications. Standard production holds an inherent 3 to 10 business day lead time before shipment dispatch. During high-demand seasons, production may take up to 2 weeks.
  • Contractual Commitment: Once an order is submitted, the buyer enters into a binding contract to purchase. We are unable to cancel orders once they have entered our workshop production queue or shipping cycle.
  • Pre-Fulfillment Cancellations: If a cancellation request is received and approved before materials have been cut or processed, a 15% cancellation fee will be assessed to offset processing penalties charged to us by merchant banks and restocking setups.

3. Payment Gateways & Security

All e-commerce transactions are funneled through verified, tier-1 third-party billing networks (Stripe and PayPal ).
  • MicroFalconry does not access, collect, or store your credit card digits or tokenized bank secrets locally on our servers.
  • You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all checkout sessions.

4. Shipping, Customs, & Cross-Border Importer Rules

Our operations are conducted globally from our workshop in Lithuania, European Union.
  • Importer of Record: For all shipments traveling outside the European Economic Area (EEA), the buyer is legally designated as the importer of record.
  • Tariffs & Fees: You are entirely responsible for paying all localized import taxes, customs duties, tariffs, and destination brokerage fees. These are not collected or calculated at checkout and will be assessed upon arrival at your national border.
  • Delivery Windows: Standard global delivery spans 1 to 4 weeks via priority tracked air corridors. MicroFalconry is not liable for border customs hold-ups, national sorting strikes, or adverse weather delays.

5. Absolute Liability Waivers & Operational Safety Disclaimers

CRITICAL: The use of mechanical drogue parachute release systems attached to unmanned aircraft involves high-altitude deployments, complex mechanical release variables, and live raptors. High-altitude conditioning carries inherent operational hazards.

  • Assumption of Risk: By purchasing and opening our product packaging, you assume full personal, legal, and operational responsibility for the deployment of the equipment. You acknowledge that falconry training via drones poses risks of physical damage to your aircraft, structural failure, thermal line drift, injury or loss of your bird, or property damage.
  • Hardware and UAV Disclaimers: MicroFalconry rigs are aftermarket accessories designed to mount onto third-party consumer drones (such as the DJI Mavic or Phantom lines). MicroFalconry accepts zero liability for drone crashes, software tracking failures, battery strains, camera damage, or the voiding of manufacturer warranties on your personal aircraft.
  • Regulatory Compliance: The operator is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all local aviation laws, including regional frameworks governing payload attachments, flight altitudes, and property lines (e.g., FAA, EASA, or CAA mandates).
  • Pre-Flight Inspection Duty: The handler is strictly required to test and evaluate all lines, knots, swivels, and mechanical pins prior to every single flight . MicroFalconry is not liable for gear deployment failures due to rigging wear, field debris, or improper packing.

6. Warranty Exclusions & Carrier Damage

  • Transit Damage: We use rugged, impact-resistant protective cases to secure your rigs during international shipping. However, MicroFalconry is not legally liable for packages lost, stolen, or structurally compromised during transit. In the event of transit damage, the buyer must preserve all boxes and wrap elements and execute a formal insurance claim directly with the shipping carrier.
  • Field Use Wear: Because this gear is deployed in unpredictable outdoor training environments, our products do not carry a warranty against operational wear, impacts, bird talons, or line snaps incurred during field operation.

7. Returns and Pristine Condition Acceptance

We provide a strict 14-day return window for unused items, subject to the following criteria:
  • Acceptance Standard: Products can only be returned if they are in their original, completely pristine, and unused field condition . Rigs showing dirt, turf debris, flight wear, or talon scratches are entirely ineligible for a refund.
  • Authorization Authorization: You must request a Return Authorization Number (RA#) by emailing info@microfalconry.com with video or photographic proof of the product’s condition before shipping it back to an intake facility. Parcels arriving without an RA# will be rejected automatically.

8. Governing Law & Global Jurisdiction

These Terms, your purchase contracts, and any legal operational disputes arising from the use of our equipment shall be governed exclusively by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Republic of Lithuania , without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal actions or proceedings must be initiated strictly within the courts of competent jurisdiction located in Lithuania.

9. Modifications to the Terms

MicroFalconry reserves the right to update, adjust, or replace any clause of these Terms of Service at our discretion. It is your responsibility to review our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of the website or our storefront following the posting of modifications indicates direct acceptance of those changes.
