Replacement Kit with VENT Parachute

Parachute replacement kit for our CLASSIC and LIGHT complete drone rigs.

The sale is for a replacement parachute kit only, excluding the parachute container and any additional lines required attach to the drone. It’s a replacement for our complete drone rig. REPLACEMENT KIT WITH VENT PARACHUTE is available in ten sizes:

12inch  14inch  16inch  18inch  20inch  22inch  24inch  26inch  28inch  30inch

Larger parachute models  26inch 28inch 30inch has slightly different configuration parachute canopy loading lines.  “Y” shaped triple lines increase the line amount at the top and double the gores in the canopy. A higher number of lines helps create a more perfect, inflated 3D canopy shape, resulting in maximum air resistance (drag) and a slower descent. 

PARACHUTE SIZES ARE PROVIDED WITH FLAT LAY MEASUREMENTS. We lay the parachute on the counter and measure from one side of the ripstop nylon to the other. The measurements will be completely different when the parachute is inflated.

Please Note: Due to variations in raw material stock and the manufacturing process, the final part color may vary slightly from the images shown. Parachute canopy lines, rig lines, and all plastic parts might be in completely diferent color than shown in images.

RIGGING-specifications:

Parachute cord has knotless loops to the swivel. The soft 5mm cord is approximately 5 feet ( ∓ ± 1.50m) in length. 

The adjustable releaser can be micro-adjusted for clip tension by turning the barrel. Made from black or red ABS plastic. Prevents premature release and allows the use of different weighted lures.

High-quality ball bearing swivels loaded with high-class stainless steel balls provide maximum protection against twisted and tangled lines. Solid welding ring at each end.

The parachute line has a short cord with a button toggle lock to secure a piece of meat or a leather lure of your choice.

VENT-parachute specifications:

VENT parachute – slightly lower-performance intermediate parachute with less drag compared to “APEX” but way more compared to “ROUND”. It comes with an adjusting ring so you will have the same control adjusting the parachute canopy as the APEX parachute, but a vent hole limits its effect and gives more stability. Due to that, it is the perfect choice for those who haven’t got much experience with more advanced parachutes like APEX.

Our developed adjusting ring system gives the opportunity to very precisely adjust parachute drag. It’s like having several different-sized parachutes in one package.

Pull-down apex parachute canopy, due to the flat surface, is less effective against side wind than any other known design.

Lightweight and strong rip-stop nylon (non-PU coated) manufactured using a specially created nylon yarn, giving it good tare strength. This is why it is used for manufacturing parachutes.

High-quality, durable knotless-looping coated water-resistant parachute canopy lines. High number lines to ensure a perfect 3D canopy shape when inflated for maximum caught air and maximum drag.

An adjustable “apex ring” gives full control in adjusting the canopy shape to achieve maximum performance.

Large diameter loop at the end of the lines to attach the lure line. Made from a 4mm braided sheath, which is 32 interwoven strands, giving it a relatively smooth texture.

Our designed parachute line splitter keeps parachute canopy lines away from each other to prevent any twists.

A plastic storage box to keep the parachute away when not in use. Bright colors significantly increase visibility and aid in recovery efforts if lost in the field.
