Magnetic Parachute release rig for RC

RC-controlled planes are used to trail a lure, which is attached to the bottom of the wing with magnets. The lure also incorporates a hi-start parachute, so that when the falcon detaches the lure, the parachute creates drag, and the falcon is not tempted to fly too far with her prey(lure).

The magnetic parachute release rig for RC planes is fully completed and ready to install in the radio-controlled plane. Note: glue is not provided in the kit. The thermoplastic polyurethane magnet pad is lightweight with abilities to absorb impact and can be glued to any shaped surface due to its flexibility. Please note, the magnetic releaser must be installed as close as possible to the Center of Gravity (CG)

PARACHUTE SIZES ARE PROVIDED WITH FLAT LAY MEASUREMENTS. We lay the parachute on the counter and measure from one side of the ripstop nylon to the other. The measurements will be completely different when the parachute is inflated.

Please Note: Due to variations in raw material stock and the manufacturing process, the final part color may vary slightly from the images shown. Parachute canopy lines, rig lines, and all plastic parts might be in completely diferent color than shown in the images.

Magnetic Release Rig– parachute specifications:

Lightweight and strong rip-stop nylon (non-PU coated) manufactured using a specially created nylon yarn, giving it good tare strength. Which is why it is used for manufacturing parachutes.

14 feet (about 4,5 meters) 2mm round polypropylene braided cord. Available with a long line for introducing falcons to the plane or shorter for more experienced birds. Please contact us if you need a different line length than listed.

Classic round shape parachute canopy to reduce drag. Several different sizes of parachute canopies to choose from; 12inch 14inch 16inch and 18inch. Several colors to choose from: white, orange, or army green.

The thermoplastic polyurethane magnet pad is lightweight and can absorb impact. Weighs about 14 grams without a magnet and measures 80mm x 95mm.

Super strong magnet made from neodymium-iron-boron alloy (Ndfeb) with nickel coating (Ni-Cu-Ni). Magnetized axially and has a maximal operating temperature of 80 degrees Celsius.

High-quality, durable knotless-looping coated water-resistant parachute canopy lines. High number lines to ensure a perfect 3D canopy shape when inflated for maximum caught air and maximum drag.

Our designed parachute line splitter keeps parachute canopy lines away from each other to prevent any twists.

High-quality ball bearing swivels loaded with high-class stainless steel balls provide maximum protection against twisted and tangled lines. Solid welding ring at each end.

The parachute line has a short cord with a button toggle lock to secure a piece of meat or a leather lure of your choice.

A plastic storage box to keep the parachute away when not in use. Bright colors significantly increase visibility and aid in recovery efforts if lost in the field.
