The “VORTEX” Falconry Parachute & Release Rig

  Engineered for specialized falconry display flights , the VORTEX Ring Decelerator Parachute system is designed to deliver a striking, high-impact visual effect in the air. Because it utilizes a more advanced, high-performance rigging setup, this system requires precise parachute packing to ensure flawless deployment. While it demands a higher attention to detail during setup, the reward is an incredibly smooth, stable, and visually captivating descent that elevates any public demonstration or training session.

VORTEX-Rigging specifications:

Parachute line – soft polyester 5mm cord, approximately 5 ft ( ∓ 1.50m) in length.

Container line – high-strength PP polypropylene 4mm cord, approximately 11.5 ft ( ∓ 3.50m) in length.

The thermoplastic polyurethane parachute container is lightweight and can absorb impact. The weight is about 16 grams and measures 180mm in height.

V-shaped landing skid attachment keeps the rig attached to a drone and away from the camera.

The adjustable releaser can be micro-adjusted for clip tension by turning the barrel. Made from black or red ABS plastic. Prevents premature release and allows the use of different weighted lures.

Lightweight and strong rip-stop nylon (non-PU coated) manufactured using a specially created nylon yarn, giving it good tear strength. This is why it is used for manufacturing parachutes.

High-quality OEKO-TEX Standard polyester ribbon parachute canopy lines.

Our designed parachute line splitter keeps parachute canopy lines away from each other to prevent any twists.

High-quality ball-bearing swivels loaded with high-class stainless steel balls provide maximum protection against twisted and tangled lines. Solid welding ring at each end.

The parachute line has a short cord with a button toggle lock to secure a piece of meat or a leather lure of your choice.

A plastic storage box to keep the parachute away when not in use. Bright colors significantly increase visibility and aid in recovery efforts if lost in the field.
