“NANO RIG” – a Complete Parachute Rig

A complete falconry training parachute release setup for falcon or hawk training. Has been designed for drones (quadcopters) without landing skids and very limited lifting power.  Smaller, low-power drones are not capable of lifting a bigger payload, so we designed the “NANO” rig. Rigged the same as “LIGHT” rig, except every single part has been scaled down to save as much weight as possible. Thinner lines, a lighter parachute container, and smaller ball bearing swivels saved quite a bit of weight and decreased air resistance.

 NANO–Rig can be rigged with 3 different design parachutes,  depending on your choice:

APEX

The highest-performance parachute with the biggest drag compared to all other designs. As a result, a smaller rig can achieve the same effect. It comes with an adjusting ring so you will have full control of adjusting the parachute apex to achieve maximum performance.  Please note that this is a high-performance parachute and requires a basic understanding of aerodynamics to get its full potential. VENT

 Slightly lower-performance intermediate parachute with less drag compared to “APEX” but way more compared to “ROUND”. It comes with an adjusting ring for apex control(same as the APEX), but has a vent hole that limits its effect and gives more stability. Due to that is the perfect choice for those who have some experience and are looking for a higher-performance parachute. ROUND  

The lowest-performance traditional “round” shaped parachute. Still plenty of power for Falcon or Hawk training. It has a new anti-twist system installed that keeps canopy lines away from each other. ROUND parachute is available in twelve sizes:

Larger parachute models  26inch 28inch 30inch has slightly different configuration parachute canopy loading lines.  “Y” shaped triple lines increase the line amount at the top and double the gores in the canopy. A higher number of lines helps create a more perfect, inflated 3D canopy shape, resulting in maximum air resistance (drag) and a slower descent. 

PARACHUTE SIZES ARE PROVIDED WITH FLAT LAY MEASUREMENTS. We lay the parachute on the counter and measure from one side of the ripstop nylon to the other. The measurements will be completely different when the parachute is inflated.

Please Note: Due to variations in raw material stock and the manufacturing process, the final part color may slightly vary from the images shown. Parachute canopy lines, rig lines, and all plastic parts might be in completely diferent color than shown in images.

NANO-Rigging specifications:

Parachute line – 2mm Polyamide cord, commonly known as Nylon, approximately 5ft ( ∓ 1.50m) in length.

Container line – 2mm Polyamide cord, commonly known as Nylon, approximately 11.5ft ( ∓ 3.50m) in length.

The thermoplastic polyurethane parachute container is lightweight and can absorb impact. Weighs 12g, 10g, 8g, depending on the chosen rig size, and measures 115mm in height.

Strong 10mm velcro straps to attach the parachute container line to the drone. Compatible with a variety of different make drones.

The adjustable releaser can be micro-adjusted for clip tension by turning the barrel. Made from black or red ABS plastic. Prevents premature release and allows the use of different weighted lures.

Lightweight and strong rip-stop nylon (non-PU coated) manufactured using a specially created nylon yarn, giving it good tare strength. This is why it is used for manufacturing parachutes.

High-quality,   durable, knotless-looping coated water-resistant parachute canopy lines. High number lines to ensure a perfect 3D canopy shape when inflated for maximum caught air and maximum drag.

Our designed parachute line splitter keeps parachute canopy lines away from each other to prevent any twists.

High-quality ball bearing swivels loaded with high-class stainless steel balls provide maximum protection against twisted and tangled lines. Solid welding ring at each end.

The parachute line has a short cord with a button toggle lock to secure a piece of meat or a leather lure of your choice.

A plastic storage box to keep the parachute away when not in use. Bright colors significantly increase visibility and aid in recovery efforts if lost in the field.
